De beschrijvingen van modules, variabelen en instellingen zijn in het Engels. Het zijn de eigen woorden van de bot, precies zoals hij ze zegt binnen Discord, waar ze nog niet vertaald zijn. Commando’s staan hier in het Engels; Discord toont hun namen en beschrijvingen in de eigen taal van elk lid.
Aan de slag
Drie dingen, in deze volgorde. De tweede is de stap die mensen overslaan, en het is de reden dat een bot lijkt niets te doen.
Voeg de bot toe aan je server
Gebruik de uitnodigingslink. Hij vraagt de 21 rechten die de code echt gebruikt en verder niets. Je kunt er elk van uitvinken — het eigen commando van een functie laat je later weten als er een ontbreekt, in plaats van stilletjes te falen.
Zet zijn rol boven de rollen die hij beheert
Serverinstellingen → Rollen, en sleep sick erboven. Discord weigert een bot toe te staan iemand te bannen, te kicken, een time-out te geven of een rol toe te kennen wanneer de hoogste rol van die persoon boven die van de bot staat. Dit is een regel van Discord, niet van ons, en geen enkel recht kan hem opheffen.
Typ de naam van een functie
/welcome,/logs,/antinuke— elk toont elke instelling, wat is ingesteld, wat nog vereist is met de regel die het invult, en een live waarschuwing als de bot een recht mist dat die functie nodig heeft. Iets instellen zet de functie aan;offzet hem weer uit. De meeste modules doen niets totdat je ze instelt; de handvol die aan begint, wordt hieronder genoemd.

Elke module stel je in met het commando op zijn kaart. De meeste wachten tot je ze instelt; de uitzonderingen, aan vanaf het moment dat de bot arriveert, zijn Activity, AFK, Giveaways, Language, Text commands, Moderation log, Punishment ladder en Snipe. Elke kaart hieronder zegt welke het is.

Typ er een tussen accolades in een bericht dat je voor de bot schrijft — de welkomst, of iets wat je bouwt met /message — en hij wordt ingevuld wanneer het bericht wordt verstuurd. Eén die een functie niet kan invullen (de welkomst heeft geen kanaal) blijft precies zoals je hem typte. Namen die mensen kiezen worden ontsnapt, zodat niemand je opmaak kan breken met de zijne.
